Manila, Philippines — Arriving at an event hours before sunrise paid off for Daniel “Zemogs” Gomez, who managed to purchase a ₱2,500 Lemokey X1 mechanical keyboard for just ₱1 after lining up first at the World Bazaar Festival.

Gomez arrived at the World Trade Center as early as 4 a.m., inspired by the same “early bird” mentality seen at recent major events like Blackout Manila. At the time, Hall C was still empty.

“There was no one there yet, so I just waited,” Gomez shared. “I didn’t leave and didn’t even eat.”

His friend—who originally told him about the sale and had also camped—arrived around 7 a.m. By 8 a.m., more attendees began showing up, with an official line forming by 9 a.m. The event doors opened at 10 a.m.

Once inside, Gomez didn’t hesitate.

“I ran straight to the PC Worth booth,” he said. “Me and my friend were the first in line to get the Lemokey X1 for ₱1.”

There was only one problem: Gomez didn’t have a ₱1 coin.

“I asked my friend if he could spare ₱1, and he happily obliged.”

After waiting until noon, Gomez officially completed the purchase, becoming one of the few to walk away with the promotional keyboard. The PC Worth team interviewed him and even took a photo of him holding the Lemokey X1 in what he jokingly described as a “mugshot.”

Following the sale, Gomez spent the rest of the day exploring the World Bazaar Festival, buying gifts for friends and loved ones.

A Familiar Face at Events—and Wins

The ₱1 keyboard purchase is just the latest chapter in Gomez’s growing list of memorable event moments.

Previously, he gained attention after winning a Xiaomi A Pro 43-inch TV during Xiaomi’s Year-End Christmas Party. Fresh from his final exam, Gomez rushed to Supersam BGC simply to attend the event—without any expectation of winning.

“When they called my name, I was shocked,” he recalled. “I even told myself earlier I wouldn’t be able to carry a TV home.”

Despite that, he carried the TV himself all the way to Buendia Station and surprised his parents at home.

“They were so happy. Now we watch live TV and Netflix in 4K together,” he said.

Gomez has been part of the Xiaomi community since 2024, regularly attending brand events at Mall of Asia. Through consistent participation, he was eventually invited to join the official Xiaomi Fans Club, where he continues to support launches, activities, and meetups.

Not His First Endurance Win

In 2024, Gomez also made headlines after staying 24 hours straight at Blackout Manila, earning himself a Secretlab gaming chair. The feat was featured on Gamepow and shared by Tier One Entertainment, cementing his reputation as someone willing to go the distance—literally.

From gaming conventions to tech expos and community events, Daniel “Zemogs” Gomez has become known for showing up early, staying committed, and fully immersing himself in the experiences he loves.

Whether it’s walking home with a TV, enduring a 24-hour event, or spending eight hours waiting to buy a keyboard for ₱1, Gomez’s story reflects a mix of patience, passion, and perfect timing—qualities that continue to make him a standout figure in the local tech and gaming scene.
