Microsoft Says Goodbye To Calibri As Default Font

• Calibri is to be replaced as Microsoft’s default font.
• They will be replacing the said font with 5 new others namely Tenorite, Bierstadt, Skeena, Seaford, and Grandview.
• They have not yet made an announcement as to when they will replace the fonts.

April 28, 2021, Microsoft announced that they will be replacing the said font with 5 new others namely Tenorite, Bierstadt, Skeena, Seaford, and Grandview.

Calibri has been the default font since 2007 after Times New Roman when they started.

“It has served us all well, but we believe it’s time to evolve,” said the Microsoft Design Team.

They have not yet made an announcement as to when they will replace the fonts.
