MrBeast Promises His “Greatest Year Ever” After Apologizing for Recent Videos

Over the past few years, MrBeast has really become the dominant force on YouTube. He overtook Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg as the most-subscribed creator on the platform and has continued pushing boundaries with bigger budgets and more ambitious projects. Still, he hasn’t escaped criticism. His charity-focused videos often spark debate, and after admitting he’s moved away from his old content formula, he’s shifted toward what he calls the “new MrBeast” style.

Back in September, he explained this new direction as “less screaming, slower, more story, emotion.” And now, with 2025 wrapping up, he’s promising to raise the bar even higher going into the new year.

MrBeast says his 2026 content will reach “a whole new level”

On November 26, Donaldson shared that he hasn’t been completely satisfied with some of his recent uploads. “After some reflection, I just want to say I think some of our newer YouTube videos haven’t been as good as I wanted. I apologize,” he wrote. “Ya boy is going to go into ultra grind mode and make the greatest content of my life in 2026. Promise.”

Fans quickly responded with support, reassuring him that his videos haven’t dropped in quality.
Still, he insisted, “Appreciate it, but I’m going to take this stuff to a whole new level.”

Although he hasn’t revealed what exactly he’s planning, he recently set a Guinness World Record for the largest continuous LED video floor. It’s currently being used for the second season of his *Beast Games* series on Amazon Prime Video, and there’s a chance it could appear in future YouTube videos as well.

For now, all we can do is wait to see what he does next.
