A recent TikTok video showing a newly registered nurse (RN) affixing a “Please Do Not Delay” license plate emblem to their vehicle has ignited a discussion within the online community, particularly on Reddit’s r/NursingPH.

The video, which features the text “I once dreamed of having ‘RN’ after my name; now I’ll be celebrating Christmas as an RN,” captures the excitement of achieving a professional milestone. However, it also inadvertently raised questions about the legality and appropriateness of such vehicle modifications.

According to some comments, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the Philippines does not allow unauthorized modifications to vehicle license plates or the addition of emblems.
