Right when the first season concluded, fans were already curious when Season 2 will come out. Luckily for us, the hit new anime has already been renewed for a second season.

The announcement was made in Crunchyroll. Though there’s no actual release date yet, Crunchyroll has said to tune in on Rent-a-Girlfriend’s official website as well as their Twitter account.

Usually when determining if an anime gets renewed for a second season relies on the popularity and its source material. Rent-a-Girlfriend is the second most popular anime series in Netflix Japan only behind Fire Force.

The manga which is still ongoing has over 150 chapters so there will most likely enough material to produce the next season and possibly even a third season.
